Volunteer Opportunities

St Angela Merici welcomes volunteers into the school to help with various activities. NO ONE will be allowed to volunteer with out the proper clearances.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule for the safety of our students. Why do I need these clearances? Click Here  for more information

Once you have your clearances we would be grateful for your help.

• Cafeteria and Playground
• Home Room Parent Helpers
• Field Trips
• Catholic Schools Week Activities
• Lenten Fish Fry
• Field Day

• Go to the website Diocesan Database Clearance Application Registration
  Fill out the required fields.
  The access code is the word "protect"
  After completing the registration click the blue "Submit Registration" button.
• Once you have registered, log back into the site with your newly created username and password. Diocesan Database Clearance Application
  There are ten sections that must be completed.
  Every time a section gets a green check mark on it, that section is complete.
  Once you have completed all sections, your application will be processed.
• The above step is only step one. You will also need to do the following:
  Complete a Child Abuse Clearance Application (and turn it into the office.)
  
  Take a Protecting God's Children Class - Choose Pittsburgh-(Diocese)
  Turn in to the office the completion certificate.
  
  Read and Return the last page of the following three booklets that can be obtained in the school office:
  "Reporting of Child Abuse and the Child Protective Services Law of PA"
  "Safe Environment for Children"
  "Pastoral Code of Conduct"
