A St. Angela Merici School first-grader is putting her artistic talent to use for charity. Ava Dzurenda, 6, of White Oak, initiated her own two-month-long project earlier this year to develop and sell a variety of art-related items such as picture frames, business cards and bookmarks, as well as some baked goods in order to raise money for charity.
